Charles C. (Chris) Klein

Chris oversees daily operations, long term planning, business oversight and vision for the company. He has been in commercial, higher education and healthcare construction for over 40 years and has worked in many aspects of the industry, including HVAC sub-contracting, Inspection and Quality Control, Construction Manager/Owner’s Representative and General Contractor. Chris worked as an Inspector of Record on OSHPD projects for 10 years and has an excellent understanding of Title 24 Regulations, OSHPD requirements and City/County Building Codes.

Chris previously worked on staff at UCSB in the role of Inspector, Project Manager, Assistant Fire Marshal and Plan Checker. While at UCSB, Chris worked on the Chemistry Building (Hazardous Occupancy)- $40 million, Institute of Theoretical Physics Building—$25 million and two new building additions to the existing Student Union Building and renovations to 75% of the existing Student Union Building and Student Housing upgrades.

Chris still maintains his certification as an OSHPD Inspector of Record. CCK/LAH has been providing project management and general contracting services in Southern California for over eleven years and is still serving clients with all of their construction needs.

With over 35 years of experience in the healthcare design and construction industry, Henry is responsible for new strategic growth opportunities for general contracting and construction management services for the company. Henry has worked in the architectural community for many years as a Sr. Project Manager and offers a depth of project and construction management experience. Henry works in a dual project management role as well where required. Henry has built and nurtured long lasting relationships with the Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development (OSHPD) in Southern & Northern California over the last 30 years which can help streamline the construction process. He can also offer design professionals quality advice on approaching OSHPD.

Education: BA-History, University of San Bernardino w/teaching credential, AS-Engineering, Mount San Jacinto Community College, AA-Behavioral Sciences, San Jacinto Community College. York holds a California State Contractors, Class B License and teaches construction management and fundamentals of construction costs, estimating and budgeting at UC Riverside Extension, CA.

Tony has accumulated 29 years of combined experience in Healthcare Sr. Project Management and Installation of Capital Medical Imaging Equipment in OSHPD and Non-OSHPD environments. He has been instrumental in managing various contracts, instituting cost and schedule controls and establishing best practices. Tony has taken projects from initial inception through space design to completion. He has partnered with customers, vendors, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Inspectors and OSHPD to ensure the design/layout will be optimum for customer usage and State compliancy.

Amy’s extensive healthcare experience allows for overseeing and performing tasks in every phase of the project. Amy’s depth of technical experience provides an easy transition of communication with the design professionals. Amy is responsible for project reporting, projections and scheduling.

Deval has successfully led multiple OSHPD projects at Loma Linda Medical Center and Pomona Valley Hospital.

With over 10 years experience in the construction industry, Yvonne is a highly skilled project engineer. Responsibilities include constructability reviews, job start up, distribution of all project correspondence, such as RFI’s and submittals, between the client, architect, engineers and subcontractors. Yvonne’s depth of experience affords accurate tracking of all change orders and maintaining all project logs and meeting minutes, as-builts, warranties and close-out documentation.

As project engineer, Raquel responds to all inquiries from subcontractors, sends RFI’s and submittals to architects, issues RFP’s and addenda notification to subcontractors, tracks/documents all incoming and outgoing information, confirms there is proper documentation on bids, gathers and records subcontractor bids, communicates with subcontractors via email and telephone to follow up on bids, updates clients with status of jobs, prepares close out packages.

Stephanie Klein

Stephanie provides support services to Project Managers on multiple projects. She has over 5 years in project Management and is currently pursuing a Construction Management Certificate in Project Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona. Stephanie also recently attended the eBuilder “ELEVATE” conference in Fort Lauderdale and is working on her eBuilder certification with the goal of becoming a “super admin” user.

Education: Currently enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona, College of the Extended University, Construction Management Program.

Imelda Rodriguez

Imelda is responsible for managing company documents and company financial documents. She excels at ensuring accuracy, quality and integrity. She helps LAH adhere to record retention policies, safeguard information and retrieve data more effectively. Additionally, Imelda helps prepare company documents for distribution and assists with other team efforts as needed. With a cheerful attitude and warm disposition, Imelda is a welcomed and appreciated member of LAH Builders.
